Services Description

The Southern California Genotyping Consortium (SCGC) is currently operating an Illumina BeadLab 1000 high throughput SNP genotyping system on the UCLA campus. The facility was upgraded to iScan in 2008.

The SCGC is a not for profit academic resource available to researchers in the Southern California region and beyond. Directed by Nelson Freimer (UCLA) and with management involving an oversight committee including Tony Long (UC Irvine) and Magnus Nordborg (USC), the SCGC is committed to providing equivalent access to its members at all institutions.
